Having failed miserably to get tickets in the resale thanks to some misleading info from the telephone sales team, See have today apologised personally for the all "sold out" error, which lead to me not getting tickets.....

AND

They have managed to free up some tickets for me and my family ......SO WE ARE IN !!!;-)  

Thanks to the See Management team, and for taking responsibility for the error , youve just made my year !

Well done - Makes a nice change for them to say they were wrong!

Good on them - Shouldn't have happened, now I wonder if this would work another few times for a friend ... ;)

I reckon the manager at See had just got laid because i have never heard tickets being given "due to misleading info by the telephone sales team"

Haha, well ill regard myself as very lucky then ;-) Still it has restored some of faith in mankind, and i almost quite like SeeTickets at the moment ;-p   Still that can all change in 2013 ;-D

how did you complain? via phone or email? the same thing happened to me and my girlfriend,told at 7:19pm all sold out then an hour later they were still on sale with coaches from brum. :rolleyes:  made up for you though :D

did they let you have ordinary tickets or coach tickets ??

Hey Alec, exactly what happened to me....I phoned See to complain at the time, and the girl on the other end just hung up when i then asked for her name. So i sent an email on the spot, and got a pretty much standard reply, sorry but xxxxxxxxx , so i replied, and said ok, but you for future reference it would be nice if this didnt happen, blah blah, and if there should be any small unofficial resales is there any chance you could let us know personally so that we could have another chance..

Then i got an email out of the blue this morning, then a phone call to take my order ;-)

And yes they are general entry tickets, rather than the coaches that i would have settled for ;-p   Oh and ps they also conjured up a camper van pass ;-)

i am happy at least someone got some Recognition of yet another see tickets blunder.i am still desperate to get in so will carry on phoning them every day.glad you got some. ;)

lots of peeps on the phone were informed that all the tickets, including coach packages, had sold out, a good hour before they actually sold out!

Exactly, i got through at 7.15pm, just as general entry tickets sold out, and was told none left. I enquired whether they were sure, because Glastonbury had just tweeted that general entry gone, but all  coaches available. The guy just replied nope all gone, was obviously wasnt true !  I am both surprised and ecstatic at the result, i didmnt believe in miracles......until today !
