Hello,

I'm thinking of setting up an acupuncture tent at Glastonbury and thought I would get people's opinion as to whether this would be a good idea or not. Would you guys do acupuncture at a festival (it would just be auricular acupuncture - needles in just in your ears - it could really help revive people who were lagging after too many nights out, help with all those aches and pains from sleeping on the ground, and generally increase feelings of wellbeing and relaxation.

All responsibly priced – what do you think? Is there a market for it?

Cheers, Suzi

You have left it way too late to apply to be a trader I'm afraid. Maybe 2013?

They'd definitely be a market for it.

But it's too late for this year, market and green field applications would have ended a while ago.

As above - way too late for this year.
I suspect healing fields spots are relatively cheap, but still I suspect you might find your prices can't be quite so reasonable when you work out how much you have to charge just to break even.

Me - no chance - but definitely a market for it.
Thought I had seen acupuncture before in the healing fields, but may be mistaken.

In order to revive Glasto folk with acupuncture I can see you having to do a Hellraiser type thing on them.  :)

I think there's someone there who does it - i remember a friend going off to have it done - not something I'd be keen on as a Trypanophobist, although I was quite fascinated watching someone having it done at End Of The Road.
