Presume Brian Cox will be going to unnecessarily extravagant lengths to explain whatever relatively simple event hes involved in? Performing his Peel tent act from the Gobi desert or something.

You can't be as extravagant as that at Glastonbury. But he will be leaving .... pauses at.... peculiar moments in every sentence. And there will be.... stirring music.

And at random points he will make nonsensical comparisons just to dumb it down for the rest of us like:
"Glastonbury festival is a little bit like this pebble..."

Marvellous. My inner geek shall be happy as it often is for some reason at around midday on a Saturday at the G. Have attended previous sciency lectures at this time in the past couple of years.

Professor Cox for those who didn"t know was a rocker before he was in D-Ream and became a physicist!  He was keyboard player with '90s band Dare - check them out and think of them next time you see him banging on about our planet!!

I met him today. Lovely chap.

Total Rock God now too - couldn't move for teenage girls eager to tell him about how they've just enrolled as Physics students.

Science is now sexy.
