How cramped was it for Biffy?

I didn't go in - listened to it from pennards - the crowd looked massive, right back up the hill

Arcade Fire please!!
Will most likely be Pulp, Arctics or even Strokes. Though I can't see Pulp headlining the festival, so..

EDIT: Beastie Boys would be lush too

Take everything Emily Eavis says with a pinch of salt, she said the same in 2009 " One of the biggest bands in the world " etc and it turned out to be Klaxons.

My money is on a stripped down Pulp set or possibly Jay - Z if he's on site.

Pulp seem to make most sense, pretty hard to think eavis didnt get them booked, the whole their playing elsewhere is rubbish excuse. And as if he will wait till 2013 for booking them!.

Libs is possible-but they dont seem to have anything arranged at moment, although carl and pete being there on the line up or just going to the fest and them doing an acoustic set wouldnt be out of the question.

tbh im seeing pulp at leeds anyway, and theyle only clash badly with a whole host of bands i wont get to see elsewhere.

Kasabian is possible, but, they have played recently in 09,and would prob want a full on pryamid headline slot or nothing at this stage.

Maybe noel gallagher?,jay z?,suede?,foo fighters could be posssible suppose, arctic monkeys isnt that likely, but never know.

but if it got out and was a headliner band,it could be very dangerous health and safety wise even if people can pack the place up all over the hill, spose it will be the secret set time that clashes with other massive bands set times.

exciting to think of who it could be though!.

When they say they're closing the field, does that mean you can't escape when it turns out to be Killers?

Every year I've heard similar things from EE about Park Special Guests.  I'm not getting my hopes up this time.

Think it might be The Killers as they are playing hyde park the day before.
From what was reported after their last Glasto, I don't think they are in a hurry to return.

I don't think any of the following 'could headline': Pulp, The Libertines, Kanye West, The Strokes, Beastie Boys...they are all Other Stage headliners to me.

I'm probably being too pedantic and as others have mentioned take what Emily Eavis says with a pinch of salt, I'm gonna go for Pulp.

It was pretty packed up there for Biffy - we left after 3 or 4 songs, and walked down the side path but they were stopping people going in to the Park past the flowers.  So yes, there should be a few escape routes if necessary!  :D

I don't see it being pulp, what with the history and the fact they're playing a tonne of festivals it makes no sense to have them playing a secret gig when they could have quite easily played!

I think it'll be a stripped down set like radioed style last year, Pete and Carl won't do anything together again in a long time if recent interviews are to be read into, if it's the Saturday I can really see an albarn/coxed acoustic show....this is a low at the NME awards in '09 was pure magic

However I hope I'm wrong an it is pulp, there's lots here who really wanting them to play (I'll see them at the IOW a couple of weeks before, so not to fussed)
