Has anyone been in the secret (underground?) section of the Rabbit Hole?
How do you get in? Where is the entrance? Do you need some special code or invite?
Any info would be appreciated.
Cheers

Not underground, though, as I far as I can recall.
There is the underground bar up by the dragon, which is a series of step like seats cut into the ground. You go through a gate that looks a little out of bounds, and through a door that looks like it might be a tool shed, into a surprising big space, with a bloke playing the bongos or something.
Like most things of this nature, its the concept that is fun rather than it being a truly amazing experience,IMO,so I wouldn't miss something you really want to do trying to find either, but both are a hoot

We were up in The Park last year watching The XX, decided to wander up to The Rabbit Hole and just crawled straight through the tunnel, no riddle or anything. In the past I have seen people queuing up being asked questions before they're allowed in though.
You crawl through the tunnel into a room with a bar and a dancefloor, and big toadstools to sit on. Then you have to crawl through another tunnel to get out, which brings you into a mini cinema which was showing The Wombles when we were in it.
Only at Glastonbury...

we went last year - and could only get in if we took a carrot. which we did!

Trick is to time it right, so you can actually get in. As you can imagine, later on there are queues.
I'm intrigued by this underground bar by the dragon though. But what's the dragon? And what field would I find it in?

I remember these two guys got bored of waiting in the queue and decided to just crawl under the tent floor instead. Now, if you've crawled through the tunnel to the Rabbit Hole you'll know that's its quite far away and winds around quite a lot. I wonder if they ever got out...

hmmmm... i wouldn't know about that.

dunno about any carrotts, we didn't need em.
but to shatter a few illusions, the secret bit of the Rabbit Hole is nowt more than a little marquee attached to the main tent by one of those tube things that you find in kids playgrounds to crawl through, and is clearly visible from behind the RH, up on the hill.
of course, non of what i have posted should stop you from suspending disbelief and enjoying it. it is ace.

The Dragon is a concrete (presumably) dragon by the small stream next the Dragon field - I presume that's why it is so named. To the left of the stone circle as you look up the hill. A little higher up there is a an area that looks fenced off, and it has a Chinese lanterns (it did last year anyway)You wander in thinking, should I really be here, and there's a door and you poke your head in and its full of people. Prior to the Park area, this underground venue was known by some as the Rabbit hole and searched for by people that should know better (like me) for quite a few obsessive years. I don't think it was always in this place but has been for the last couple of years. I would post the youtube link of them making it, but that would take the last little bit of surprise away.
See you there

Now you describe the dragon, a hazy memory comes back to me. I think I could definitely have a stab at finding this place

believe me, I am the last person on these forums to use the tedious monorail 'joke'. In fact I'd be quite happy to see those mentioning such 'joke' - tarred and feathered.
Anyway, carrots. Tis true. we got them from a juice stall, jumped the queue and went straight in. We did however have insider info from a worker there who we'd met on the wednesday!
It was rammed, sweaty and a massive anti-climax!

I think the novelty of the rabbit hole was discovering it for the first time. Im not sure if I would go back... the initial discovery of a new secret place was awesome though!
And now I have a new place to search for. Got a T'pau gig at this Dragon Bar to attend, cant let fatyeti down!
