I reckon this could well be another festival that comes and goes.. a bit like Live at Loch Lomond. We are almost into May, and they are hoping to sell 20,000 plus tickets from now until the festival in July? Pretty hopeful I think!

Northsound said yesterday that ticket sales were going very well. Then again, I did hear that on Northsound...

I'm in two minds as to how ticket sales are going. I've heard they are going well, but I have also heard the opposite...

20,000 tickets per day for it's first year, no camping either. Plus the week after Wickerman and just before Belladrum.. over-saturation at that time of year.. I doubt this will be as successful as they would like!

Fair point Paul but Wickerman is at the other end of the country and Bella this year is lacking on anything that looks like a line up.  Hope this is a success

Exactly.  The lack of camping shouldn't be an issue as it is clearly marketed as a city centre festival, trying to attract mainly residents from Aberdeen.

Pretty much. An hour down either coast as well is easily accessible.

Well considering I never knew it was in the City Centre, I would guess the bit in bold ain't correct.

lol guess some wouldn't know I suppose. Well it's at Seaton Park which is next to Aberdeen University so not quite city centre but a 5 minute taxi away, bit like Kelvingrove and Glasgow Uni.
