So happy to see them on the bill...Sunday night at the other looks pretty amazing (well, I can take or leave Kaiser Chiefs, but perfect timing for a break before Queens)...TVOTR, Eels and QOTSA in one night....mama.

Oh B*llocks...it's now starting to sink in that there's just way too many clashes coming. I could always catch Paul Simon in Dublin the day before I leave for Glasto...but he's charging over 80 balloons...

Still think it's gonna have to be TVOTR...loving the new album.
...and this is how to f*ckin' nail a network TV appearance!

Hopefully timings will work out OK, if not the lure of the chance of 'a method' could give me a proper headache.

I know what you mean about a sense of duty, songs of my childhood etc etc but I think it will be a great gig too, especially as Emily has pegged it a "greatest hits set" in the guardian. As you say, let's hope the timings are kind, it's not always as straightforward as it looks.

Well chuffed about this. One of my big hopes before the line-up was announced. A definite for me, even ahead of Paul Simon

Luckily I'm not familiar with Paul Simon's work outside a couple, so I will keep myself ignorant and happy that I am going to see TVOR.

Very little to choose between the last 3, all are fantastic. I suppose maybe give Dear Science a whirl first. But Return to Cookie Mountain and the new one are also great from start to finish. I tend not to listen to the first one that much and I don't even have a copy of their real first album so can't comment on that one...

Been meaning to get into them since I heard DLZ on breaking bad ages and ages ago. Quite excited by the prospect now that I've reminded myself what a beast of a song it is!

Can I just say that their new album is absolutely bloody fantastic. Just when I thought it was impossible they've expanded their sound even more and reached new territories with their music. It's genius.
Saying that though, Still undecided between Paul Simon and this lot. Either a relaxing gig in the sun reliving those memories of when I was 7 or a massive dance about before Eels. Really harsh clash.
Line up is fantastic btw.

Really looking forward to seeing these now, been listening to them quite a bit.
Really liking the new album.
Second Song is one of my favourite songs at the moment.
Means I'll have to leave Everything Everything early by looks of it, but it's not too bad a run from John Peel to the Other Stage in the middle of the day (weather provided).

I was unsure that they would still be playing.

They cancelled their dates up to the end of April but they still have more on their website for May/June. Their homepage reads "There will be more information as it becomes available"
Wait and see. Completely understandable if they pull out.
