Do you reckon you could get the funky leisure trolley on a bus if its fully loaded? We're going from Bristol Temple Meads station to site on the Weds morning (early) using the connecting shuttle. We did that last year, and it was very hassle free, but don't know if you'd fit on with a fully loaded trolley. Anyone ever done it?

trolly are ok but its much easier on your back with a wheelbarrow imho olso dont over fill a trolly as they work best on flat ground and glasto is defo not that

Just got back from B&Q good news is their trollies are now only £10 but seemed to have changed to yellow for this year will post a pic asap

I started off with granny trolley, but after trying it with my kids at a festival decided against it as it kept falling to the side
I then got given an old pram off of freecycle which i am intending to use  
Just doing my bit for the enviroment

If the bus is one of those drop down buses (you know, the ones with easy wheelchair/pushchair) access, yes I think you would. I have one of those trollies and it isn't that wide. But one thing I did notice is the 'clip' that stops the trolley from collapsing isn't very long. It can come loose easily, so I would make sure you tape that up well. If you have seen the trolley you will know what I mean. Other than that it is a fab trolley, very sturdy when clipped in right and you should get it on the bus ok.

I am a poor student so I have brought a reasonably cheap trolley, i'm slightly concerned about how long it will last. I brought this one from Argos: http://www.argos.co....ING TROLLEY.htm
When I brought it a week ago it was on sale for £14.99 so if it does break, you get what you pay for I guess. Wish me luck!

I used the B&Q one last year - worked really well

Put it in lock up after unloading it. saw many others with broken wheels etc. i used bungee ropes but i think the cling film idea sounds better as my bungees broke!

Sorry but i don't think it's wheels are strong enough to get across the bumpy Glasto mud tracks. saw lots of lost wheels last year from similar trolleys. #sorry#

I have set myself up for disaster but one wheel will be better then carrying it all on my back. I will make it to Park Home Ground or Dairy Ground!

we have been using one of these for Glasto for about 9 yrs now (the same one). it carries tons of stuff (we use bungee cords) turns into a seat when you get there as sides fold down and flat packs into the car with minimal effort. Just don't forget the spanner. Ours comes apart into 5 pieces and the wheels come off only takes a few mins to put back together. Some years we have brought back half a ton of Glasto mud on the wheels so don't forget bin bags to pack them into lol

we thought it had finally had it last year as the axle snapped on the way in    but we tied it all up and managed to get back to the car and hubby has drilled and soldered axle to reuse this year   . We repaint it each year and have used it for ferrying sleeping children around in at night complete with fairy lights

We also have a smaller trolley like the
Argos type one no idea where from as it is about 20 yrs old   It carries 2 large plastic crates with assorted sundries in and anything else we manage to tie onto it.

Having tried this, the answer was yes.  Our journey home used the temple meads bus and we simply packed the trolley down and it fit nicely in front of the seat with the other stuff piled on the seat.  We tied our tents/sleeping bags together using guy ropes into easy 'slices' that stacked on the trolley and then used carabiner bungees to hold it all in place, making it easy to pack/unpack it onto and off of the bus.

The trolley stood up really well to getting in and out of glastonbury, although it clagged up with mud and the wheels became skis not long after getting through gate D (took a walk from w44 to do so, that's a pretty long way to have to take a trolley through a muddy glastonbury), this failure was down to the weather/condition around gate D more than any failing of the trolley.

It was a godsend, allowing us to take nearly double the volume that we would if we didn't have the trolley, and as I was in recovery and had mobility issues we managed to get 2 tents plus clothes, food, drink and accessories for 3 people using the trolley, 1 backpack and 1 daypack.

I have seen mention that for some the wheelcaps popped off, we didn't have this experience but I am guessing that liberally applying hotmelt glue or silicon sealent to the rim of the cap before popping them in would prevent this.

I'd definitely recommend this trolley, particularly now you can buy them at the eFestivals camping shop

I have the OP's trolley. It's brilliant. It collapses down very small, it's light, and it saw me through mud, dust, and floods. I shall be buying another for 2013 after someone nicked my old one on the Sunday.
