Running low on funds at the moment so I may need to take out a tiny loan for resale day. Can somebody who was successful on ticket day let me know exactly how much the ticket comes to after fees, postage etc?

Cheers.  :D

£195 for the ticket + £5 booking fee + £4.95 postage = £204.95 in total

This person is right. Definitely too early on a Sunday for me to be tackling such tough mathematics.

£40.99 per day isn't really that much.

It is when you're a student.

Then there's travel costs. Also, volunteers can save on food.

Thanks! Slightly less than I anticipated, which is good. Fingers crossed I don't balls up the resale.  :)

Actually will they be selling coach packages in the resale? May aswell book a coach from London if I'm successful. Anybody have any ideas on the price?

They sold them last year in the resale... Standard tickets sold out first, then the coach packages shortly later.  I would imagine you need to add £47 onto the price which is the cost of a return coach ticket from London

Whispers: nothing financial.  BUT it does cost me lots of blood, sweat and tears cramming over 30 hours work into 4 long hard days and 5 nights.  I'm just a small part of the jigsaw puzzle of staff that contribute to the creating the whole amazing picture.  And I would not change a thing, and would gladly pay for the privilege.

we get several tickets which cost us nothing,

except the blood, sweat and tears making everything and setting up, not to mention all the expenses.

  Still love it though.

I thought students were all middle and upper class toffs living off mum and dad. Or is that just how The Sun likes to portray them.

Oh I wish! Try living off £6,000 a year and trying to pay rent, bills, fieldtrip costs, food... Thank goodness for bursaries really!
