I’ve no interest in seeing a load of flaccid cocks wimpering like babies to Elbow in the Pyramid Field. No interest whatsoever.
“It’s looking like a beautiful dayyyyyyyyyyyyy.”
If its sunny and people start going “Oh my God, it actually IS a beautiful day” Ill f**king throw up.

You're right, Elbow are bound to do that song as their finale.
And then watch U2 come on and open their set with Beautiful Day.
It will all be just too much.

Oh boy, did anyone see that then? Jules trying to cut off the penultimate act as it's live and Elbow were waiting to play?
Old guy on piano just not looking up as he was telling him to wrap it up. Excruciating. In the end the just made the audience applause so the old guy would stop.
Will be on Harry Hill for sure.

That was brilliant. Reminded me off something off the Fast Show's Jazz Club sketch. Even Garvey was pissing himself. If one thing could sum up the endless noodling of jazz musicians then that was it. I bet he's still playing now

Hilarious
This just reminds me of why jazz is such bollocks, someone should tell them that a song, sorry tune has to have an beginning middle and end! Especially and end
The whole band of Elbow had to settle themselves through a fit of the giggles it was so funny.
Elbow were great though and will be mega on the Friday night, can't wait. I hope to catch Anna Calvi, hopefully in a dark setting inside a tent, the mood of her music dictates it. Have never stood Oasis and Beedy eye are worse!

Yeah but, The Tallest Man on Earth needs to play Glasto, right.

The Jazz tune was good though, endless as the pianist in particular wanted it to be. Jazz bars at Glasto please anyone? For 3am beard-strokings?
Bless Jules, so many ways he's a bit ineffectual. Great start show nonetheless musically.

The jazz was genius
Jools interviewing Beady Eye was cringey
Thought Anna Calvi was great, looking forward to seeing her at G. As were Elbow - another tick
I've checked the schedule and it's 'repeated' on Friday and Saturday - does anyone know whats that about? Is it completely different both nights? Longer show repeated twice?

Can't answer your question as I only watched the beginning BUT
Generally the Friday show is the one to watch anyway, it's not a repeat, it's actually a longer episode so gets extra tracks by the bigger acts.
Elbow will probably play 2 tracks on the Friday show I'd say.
So which is why I didn't watch it, I'll be watching the Friday one instead.

Make sure you get there early as they give out more tickets than seats as they cant afford to have any empty seats in the audience. my nephew is a runner for a lot of these shows and he gets a load of grief telling people it's full even though they have tickets and may have travelled half of the country to be there!
