themangus, on 08 April 2011 - 07:23 AM, said:Gonna get my opened up soon and give it a test run to make sure it's still usable.
Used it through T and RockNess last year and would absolutely recommend a black skinned tent.
Will buy another one of these if mine is past it... seem to recall it taking some damage at T, can't quite remember how bad though.

I have one like this for me and the GF too. Its "Coleman - Alaska Polycotton 3 Man Tent"
Cant go wrong with this style. Mine was £65 and its very good for 2 people.
Id always get extra space. 3 man for 2 people all the way!
and
Id reccomend everyone buying a new tent to set it up first. 1 it will be easier on the day doing a second time and 2 you'll know if your missing poles etc...
Way back in 2009 my 5 man tent became a 3 man tent after we found 3 broken poles and improvised... shuda went to the camp shop on refelction!

You really struggle to beat an Outwell folks, we have two a small one for me and the Mrs and a big 2 pod centre area one for family festivals and they are indestructible, our small one is 12 years old this summer and has been festivalling from Cornwall to Inverness and i can put it up and down in seconds.
