Hey everyone. Paid for my ticket yesterday around midday. Confirmation email through and all fine and dandy. But the money hasn't been taken out of my account yet. How long should this take to happen? Pretty worried tbh.

edit: Just read through the confirmation email and stumbled across this-

'Sales will be processed immediately and your transaction will be completed during the five working days following the sale. For the avoidance of doubt please check your bank/card statement following your transaction/s to be certain whether or not your payment has been successful .Any transaction that results in a charge back or payment dispute will be cancelled. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have sufficient funds in your account to pay for the tickets. If your transaction hasn't been processed within 5 working days, contact Seetickets immediately.'

Does this mean it could come out anytime in the next 4-5 days?

Don't worry, it'll be fine. I paid for mine midday yesterday as well and it hasn't left my account yet. I used to stress about this, but it's the same every year and it always goes out in a few days...Chill, and think of fun in the sun in June

It all depends on when the merchant claims for the money from the bank. SO I wouldn't worry about money not going out of your bank for a few days.

I cant see why we couldnt pay the balance in full on the original ticket day.  It just saves all this worry and inconvenience!

Plus it's the weekend and it may take a little longer as Saturday Sunday are not 'banking days'.

Dont worry you'll be fine mine hasn't come out yet. You ARE going and the month after next (OMG that is close!) you WILL be in a field in the sun.

How could I possibly help you? See tickets say the money will come out within 5 days so unless I work for them or am a banker I really have no idea. When you book to go out for dinner and they say yes you have you booking do you phone them up every day to check they haven't made a mistake? Or you book tickets to  see and band and they send you an email to say you have they tickets but the money has not came out 2 minutes after this do you start getting in to a fret that somehow a server has sent you a email, with all your details, email address obviously and addressed to you saying you have paid the balance and you are attending glastonbury? Weird and also pointless posting that type of shit. You could have phoned then to ask the question in the time it took you to post this.

And now thinking about it. What help have you had you fool? That another person hasn't had the money taken out also, and that as the email you got confirmed that the money will come out in the next 5 days could somehow unbelievably be correct?
