I've seen this on the leeds forum, and since the V board is going slowly recently I thought i'd bring this over.
So who do you reckon could be playing V festival next year?

im pretty sure Foo fighters will headline either R/L or V, maybe Gaga, Muse, Coldplay, RHCP as possible headliners!
Probably at least 5 acts on this years line up. Paolo Nutini, Biffy and Elbow are likely in my mind, probably Prodigy as well!

Maybe the strokes if the new album does well? Whoever it is, I think next years headliner will be someone playing a different fest this year

On the Leeds board the majority are saying Biffy, Green Day and Foo Fighters

Yeh reckon foo's will be between r/l and v.
Think biffy will move up to headliners in the next couple of years but more likely to happen at t in the park first

I'd say next years headliners will be Lady Gaga and either The Killers or The Strokes

Foo fighters are a big no.
20 years since nirvana played reading and grohl who loves reading anyway will wanna finish the album tour there as well as it being the anniversary of Nirvanas last uk gig

Is one out of the two headliners always a uk fest exclusive? Or am I thinking about somewhere else

probably as they have headlined every uk festival in the last 3 years.
coldplay/plus a very big female singer on the lines of gaga/kylie/bjork
foos no chance like a previous poster said they will without question play reading/leeds.

Lady GaGa/ Strokes co headline with Arcade Fire
but Arcade Fire would be unlikely so I'd guess Lady GaGa and Strokes

The Killers/RHCP + Coldplay

My best bet for V next year is Lady Gaga and Red hot chilli Peppers.
Leeds will get Foo Fighters, Blur and The Killers

Coldplay and RHCP are due a return to V. Infact, just do V2003 all over again. Best line up ever.
