Fairs, I thought Lostprophets were meant to be releasing something next year? I could be wrong though... :)

I think everyone's been round in circles several times on the topic of Bloc Party already, but Kele's going to be on when Zane Lowe takes over the Radio 1 Breakfast Show for a week in January. Now, obviously he's unlikely to come straight out and say 'Yeah, we're playing R&L below Jay-Z' or whatever, but it's being billed as him talking about the band's plans for 2012, so there could be hints...

Try 7. :P They seem to be one of those acts that Reading and Leeds have as a "house band", like Bloc Party, Frank Turner, The Subways and The Futureheads.

Haha I thought I might have been a bit out with that one :P

My point still stands, I have no doubt they could headline a festival (Sonisphere proved they could) but I think a lot of festivals will want to wait until their new album is out and how big that is before making a decision like that

To be fair, they are subbing one of, I'm not going to the say the biggest as I can't clarify that although I don't in past results for this sort of thing they have came out the biggest.

I think it's the English rather than the content, which is sometimes hard to decipher. That quote above about them being the biggest took several attempts to understand.

Rolo Tomassi lead said they where going to record some new stuff, so that would be pretty cool..

They opened the NME last time they played didn't they?

I'd like to see Feed The Rhino in lock up aswell, don't know how possible that is.

Modestep are surely a dead cert? Creamfields is too house orientated for them.

I think you'd be lucky to see Marilyn Manson play R&L again nevermind subbing.

I agree about Manson.

I also think The Killers and Bloc Party subbing is way too soon again. The strokes and Pulp did the co-headline but it was 2002 since they last did. I do think Mumford could play 3rd but either under Bloc before Jay Z or under Pixies playing before The Killers.

For Foo's sub, it could be either Tenacious D, Soundgarden or even QOTSA but I don't see many others.

Neil has said about he could see FATM headlining R&L if they played it, anyone reckon there is a chance? He said it can't be ruled out for V but did agree with another than as they can get big bands for 1st and 2nd that at V Flo would probably go 2nd.
