I wondered that too, but I'm sure I read on here somewhere that the RN organisers were supposedly upset with the Highland News for releasing the first line-up when they did, so maybe they've decided to release the announcement for themselves before the press do?
I guess some more acts may self-confirm tonight though now that the deals have been done.  *cracks knuckles* Time to test our Google Fu...

Ok, so as expected the new additions are not the best. But as weak as the depth of the festival is, my view is that u can only see one act at a time. There are a number of good acts in the line up so depending on the order i (avoiding clashes) it's maybe not as bad as everyone says.

Nothing else they can do. They have delivered what they think the public want... Perhaps us RN regulars are no longer target audience.

I agree with the above, surprised that there wasn't a 'big exclusive' but to be honest some of the acts they've announced are HUGE in my books.

And again it's true, you can only see one act at a time! Unless you run everywhere
