Right im sick of all the f**king moaning on here, this thread is for people who like the line up to discuss, if you want to moan go post in the 99434646346 other posts with moaning in it.
Some gems in there. The Offspring, Pulp, MADNESS, Rise Against, Frank Turner also a lot of good bands id go see. I think ive counted 18 id go see which is great for a first announcement for me
The big band I cant believe isnt there is Mumford and sons. I thought theyd be a shoe in but hey its still good.

Agreed. everyone's moaning. I counted just under 20 give or take a few. I'll be there no matter what.
No Mumford for me is a big shock though

Only two acts I'd go out of my way to see, Jane's Addiction and Death From Above 1979. Plus they are playing in the tent.
Wouldn't mind seeing a few more on there, such as Interpol, Pulp and the Horrors.

Friday main is great, I'll say that. I don't understand why there is so little else to appeal to that sort of taste across the rest of the weekend, though.

Also anybody heard any of OFWGKTA - Ive just read their wiki and they sound very interesting

The general consensus is that the line up is the worst in years. Whichever forum you go on.
Just sayin.

If you mean Friday leeds I assume its because the lock up will be Saturday/Sunday

Yeah I like it as well. Its not the strongest line-up ever no and it does have the whole MCR/30STM as headliners that alot of people are going to hate. But from the first announcement I've got 5 bands a day that I want to see. With the lock up, festival republic and more nme to be announced I'm quite happy. I won't be buying a ticket tonight but hoping to get one cheap before the fest.
OFWGKTA was a nice suprise as I guessed that they would be there.

Good Saturday and good Sunday.
Rubbish Friday, but some stuff in NME and Horrors. It's all good.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. Friday's pretty awful (Offspring apart) but my main concern was that I'd have no-one to watch whilst MCR were on. I'm perfectly happy to watch the Horrors, so that's fine.

Saturday and Sunday are awesome. Really happy to see The Kills on the bill, come to think of it, anyone think Jack White will show for the Special Guest slot, him and Alison with The Dead Weather?Pretty much my thoughts exactly. So far i'm liking the look of all all days tbh some really good bands on NME and main on each days. But stand outs are Rise Against, Two Door, Madness, Muse, Strokes, Offspring, won't mind seeing MCR, few smaller ones on early on the NME are good to.
