I would love to see Okkervil River play a set because the guy is a complete lyrical genius and their songs are also great. They seem to be a great live band aswell judging by their recent broadcast performance on fabchannel. Fantastic performances on there truly miss that site, kept me occupied for many hours.

So can they play and where do you reckon they would? Acoustic or Park? Or maybe even John Peel?

Would love them to play.  Anyone know if they have a new album on the horizon?

No, they're touring in the US with Titus Andronicus over Glastonbury. Gutted, two great bands ruled out who I'd love to have seen there

I saw Shearwater at an ATP and despite being excited for them, they fell really flat live.

Okkervil's output is a bit mixed tbh, but Black Sheep Boy is one of my top 10 albums of all time for real

Saw 'em play to less than 100 people in Whelans in Dublin a few years back. They were a bit spesh. Finished with cover of "The Rainbow" by Talk Talk.
