So even if I don't get a ticket I still need a new 2 man tent as I'm off to another festival in May and my old one has given up the ghost.

3 man with porch (do you call it a porch?) are the only requirements. Any bargains out there?

Better info here

Same price as ebay, but bleu instead of red/grey

Looks a good one that.

I like the red one better. Possibly easier to pick out amongst the sea of Blue & Green.

I have the Gelert tornado 4 which is only slightly bigger than the 3 (I've had that one aswell).

Very easy to pitch and does what it says on the tin.  Also, no guy lines needed, although I do pitch the two at the front of the porch (but very close to the tent).  Kept me dry during the continual downpour of 2007  :)

For the kind of prices being quoted here, you won't do better than a Vango alpha 300. The inner is clipped onto the fly sheet, so goood separation between them, less condensation. I picked one up for a friend before last year's festival and pitched it for her...was quite impressed for the price (and I'm a tent snob)...

Personally, I like the double porch, can open both ends in the morning, instant aircon! I have this little beauty in orange...bit steeper costwise mind you, but it weighs nothing and since I have to take it on a plane that was a major factor...

Thats similar to the one I've been using for the past few years and me & the missus have had no complaints with it at all. Good porch size for storing 2 large rucksacks and the mountain of booze we take.
