It seems unlikely as I don't think Green Day are touring, although they do have a greatest hits coming out. Daft Punk is out of the blue and I also doubt it very much.

i would rather pay to see these three then any rumors floating around here, even though i'm not that fond of any of them, they'll put on a better show then MCR atleast

I dunno, they need to advertise it to other websites, a flash banner is the easiest.
Like I say I dont believe it but your doubting it for the wrong reasons

Why would vodafone have it though. They won't be selling tickets when the lineups announced so they wouldn't have use of a banner

Yeah it'd be like "Reading and Leeds 2011...featuring Daft Punk, Green Day and Muse..."
Can't imagine it would list 20+ bands in a short banner.
Seems weird that only one person has apparently seen it?
Green Day would make it so much better for me.

They don't need to advertise it though, they are just selling tixs Ticketmaster, Seetickets etc don't know the line up and if Vodafone made the banner then they are guessing as other ticket agencies don't have these sort of banners when tixs go on sale.

This and I doubt vodaphone will be making anything from the ticket sales. If anything Vodaphone being a sponsor of the festival will be paying FR for the use of their name.

You know, sometimes if you cycle through your TEMP folder (if you're using Windows) things like that are automatically saved on your hard drive until they're overwritten. My advice would be to not change anything on your hard drive - don't save anything, don't delete anything - change nothing. In fact, do nothing on it that uses up too much memory and don't close your browser. Then head over to your TEMP folder and you might strike it lucky.

seetickets and ticketmaster will have the line up now.
In 2006 or 2007 somebody who worked for hmv came on the friday before with a picture of the line up posters that arrived at the shop. Everybody thought it was bull shit until the line up was announced and it was the exact thing

Yes but lineup is not announced till monday when the presale would have ended so vodafone don't have any need to promote who's playing. They don't even need to know who's playing, just act as a gateway to seetickets

sorry, without a print screen or any source what is this rumour? i could go on twitter right now and stick some vaguely plausible bullshit on there and say 'saw this on the vodafone page' and would that throw everything up in the air? no. what a load of shit.

That was an actual poster and they only send these details/things out on the day or just before, as they try leave it as minute as possible.

Soundgarden arent coming to Europe at all in 2011. Confirmed.
Suede are headlining lattitude, Melvin wouldnt put them at reading too.

I can see the need for posters in HMV but really for see & Ticketmaster? Surely they could just email it on the day 10 mins before release?

and then somebody puts it on the website in 10 minutes.............
efestivals gets the lineup at 9am on the day. I imagine the sponsors and ticket sales got it at the start of the week at the earliest, I wouldn't be surprised if nme has had the line up for a month or so now

Plus another massively obvious mistake......... Where are the indie headliners?
