I've done this in a bar in France a few years ago while on a snowboarding trip.

Got myself in with a bunch of students and they were doing it, but it was shots of red wine.

Needless to say, we were more than ruined.

You down a 50ml shot of your choice (usually lager), one every minute for 60 minutes. Sounds very easy, and it is at the start, but once you are a few in, the minutes seem to come round very quickly. To time it I will have a mix of songs on my iPod, with Father Jack shouting DRINK!, every minute.

So who's in?.....as I said previously, plastic shot glasses will be provided some time on the Friday lunchtime/afternoon.

PS You can also do a centurion where you do 100 shots in 100 minutes, but that can get very very messy.
