Me too, the rumoured line up looks dull as dishwater and I heard they are cutting back on toilets too. What is the place coming too!

Ive been in the pit for metal bands before, and I will be again. I know Slipknot, and I know Id think they’re dull.
When you’ve been up the front fron the Cavalera Conspiracy, Slipknot would be like a metal band fronted by that Justin Beiber kid.
Each to their own and all though Ampers.

i'm guessing cavalera conspiracy don't know the concept of melody? slipknot have baws and melody. been listening to some of the harder acts i'm unaware of on the soni line up and most of it is just pish with no concept of melody.
if slipknot are dull, christ knows what elbow are.
p.s. if cricket man doesn't love elbow, i'll be amazed.

Funny how you've totally lambasted me when I've made but one flippant post in this thread.
I actually can't stand elbow - their success bewilders me. Seen them a few times and they've bored me to tears. An opinion I've stated on here a fair bit. Athelete are total no entities - I don't think I could even name a song by them. I'm more at the ATP side of the scale than the V

My comment was partially joking - I do like a couple of Slipknot songs, though I was left underwhlemed by them live. But then never saw them at their own show.
In fact I run a quarterly club night playing pop punk, rock and nu metal.

Come down in you're in London, all money is going to Epilepsy Action. At the last one we raised £200 for Save the Children and almost made the floor collapse.
