Hi guys,
Been reading up on these forums for a while, but only just decided to join so this is my first post, so be kind :-)
who do you think will be performing in dance tent this year? seen a topic already regarding magnetic man, which is looking rather unlikely due to their SW4 and creamfields gig, which im gutted about because I pretty much missed every dance tent act last year due to being in a bit of a state on the sunday and not knowing where I was!
So therefore Im looking forward to dance tent even more this year, and plan to spend majority of my sunday there, especially if MCR are on the sunday...
I'm hoping for aphex twin, chase & status (maybe too big for dance tent now), nero, or someone along them lines.

No chance they are at Vfests.
I think the other dance tent thread has most of ther likely rumours in it.

Chase & Status are playing V so unlikely to be at Reading. Could do another DJ set though. Their set in '09 was packed, people were hanging off the poles & had to be shut down (I don't remember this).
Nero is a good call & I've seen Aphex Twin mentioned before. I reckon the Qemists might appear as they have a bit of cross over appeal. Might end up with a Pendulum DJ set early on, which would give them time to get to London for SW4, unlikely though.
Would like to see Sub Focus (awesome last year), Brookes Brothers, Nero, Zinc, The Nextmen, Freestylers & a more dancey act like Tensnake/Mylo, any of them to turn up. Tbh I think they should just hand the tent over to Hospital records to curate the whole day. That wouldn't please everyone though.
It's pretty gash Cremfields & SW4 are on at the same time.

hmm nero may play on the dance tent, but i have a feeling they could play low NME, although i reckon dance tent is more likely and probably the better option for them.
i reckon it will be similar to last year in terms of dubstep & DNB acts playing higher up the tent, so im thinking maybe danny byrd, caspa, shy fx, DJ fresh etc.. but thinking about it, last years dance tent would be hard to top seen as rusko/MM/Subfocus are pretty much the most known and successful in the industry.

No DJ would play NME.

Oh right didnt realise chase n status were at V.
Yea would welcome any of the mentioned above.
I know this has nothing to do with reading, but anyone going to see deadmau5 at victoria park? Just released the line up, which is looking good.
Would welcome most of them at reading.
Apologies didnt realise there was another thread for this.

Would actually really enjoy most of those acts. Looks like a good day out. Is Skrillex a possibility for Reading? He's been getting a lot of hype. Modestep are headlining RedFest (I think) so might be good for Reading.

Yea I saw skrillex at a car park rave in london in january. was his first UK gig and it was pretty mental.. think he'd be brilliant at reading. Modestep were also at the same event and were much better than I expected, getting quite alot of Radio 1 airplay so could be a possibility also.

I almost went to this. Ewer Street car park? That wouldn't be a bad line up to have at Reading.

I wouldn't go out of my way to see them DJ but I am partial to their live act. I am stumped for any more possible DJs.
Redlight, Caspa, Nero & Danny Byrd possible as well as Wretch 32. They are all at Wakestock in July.

Caspa destroyed my ears in fabric a few weeks ago, gets a bit samey after 45mins for me though. Danny Byrd was a bit rubbish, he played a mix od DnB & rave music that nobody liked. High Contrast is standard festival fayre now, nobody hates him, but everyones seen it before. Would like to see Skrillex on the bill as I doubt many people would have had the chance to see him & he's an up & coming DJ. New Zealand Shapeshifter are new Hospitality signing that I could potentially see play. Tbh, I think it's going to go down the dubstep route rather than DnB.
The line up for dance tent doesn't announced for ages so it's gunna be a long wait.
