This year I will be going to Belladrum with a few mates and all of them will be over 18 by the time it comes around, however I will still be 17.  I was just wondering that, even though all my mates will be 18, will I still be ID'd and then stopped from entering, or will I be allowed in?

Also, if any of us decide to bring alcohol, should we put it into a different container other than cans/bottles?  I went with my Uncle and younger cousin last year for the day and my Uncle got stopped from bringing in cans of Fanta because they could have been used as a weapon or something along those lines.

PS Love the new Belladrum website! :D

Why would you be ID'd? You can enter at any age. They might question you if you have alcahol on you, but just let your pals take it in.
No glass bottles allowed, but cans are fine. God knows why your Uncle was stopped, everyone takes cans of Lager and cider into the campsite.
Was he maybe stopped going into the arena? They don't like you taking your own drinks in.

Is there not something about all under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 21?  Last year my cousin and I tried getting in while my Uncle stayed back at the car but we were told we needed to go away and get an adult.

You're right about the drinks though.  Totally forgot it was the arena he was taking them into haha.

From the Bella website: "..everyone under 18 has to be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult and to enter the event with a ticket-holding adult..."

So, if all your pals will be over 18 you'll be grand.

Did you manage to gain entry to Belladrum when you went?  If so, what ID did you have to show them in order to get in to the Festival.  Just curious as three friends refused, totally gutted, and no ticket refund either.

I wasn't ID'd at all, but my mates who were over 18 had to show their young scot card or driving license.  I think you only get ID'd if you're claiming to be under 12 or over 18.
