That new late night entry system does seem ridiculous for those of us approaching from the stone circle direction. Do you think we'll still be able to cut through from the craft field via Strummerville? We did this at peak times last year and very few people seemed to know about it.
Looks like the answer is no - see here - “Yes, Strummerville’s going to be fenced off and only accessed through the one way system too”

...which is a pity. I enjoyed heading there (via the craft field) after the headliners. Just have to get there earlier.

Has anyone else noticed the new bottle refill points?  I assume it's for people refilling water, I had zero problems using the standalone taps next to the sinks at all waterpoints / toilets last year...

LED queue status signs? Will they be like road side info screens with no bearing on reality? ;)

My only complaint about the one way last two years is when heading back towards stone circle from Pyramid I've ended up being swept along with the crowd then into the one way system without even wanting to go to Arcadia etc. at that point and not being able to get out without going all the way round .. Doh! ;)

which also means the toilets on Pennards are in the same stoopid place as they have been for the past couple of years - and a right old hike from the glade.

Thanks. I can understand why they're doing it, but it's still annoying. I'm sure there will be a sneaky shortcut somewhere along that hedge...

So a question on the map: it doesn't appear to show an area fenced-off for "Hospitality Camping" thus year, although it's still written on the map. Anyone got any clue about whether it's the same as the last two years and therefore cutting into valuable space in Woodsies etc?

aside from the shit battery life of my iphone, no longer can I transfer the sim between a decent phone and a shite festival phone - so annoyingly have to have a dedicated festival phone number!
Vodafone will give you a free sim card with that number on. You activate it with a phone call to them and then when you get back, activate the new micro sim ( which they also will provide for free)

Not seen anything to suggest that will change this year.
