Just seen they've been confirmed for the sw4 festival, which takes place on the same weekend as reading, does this mean they're ruled out?

these were one of the acts i was most looking forward to, their set last year was amazing

Nope, they are "London Festival Exclusive" (these exclusive tags are getting really shit now) and they are playing the one day.
We can figure out they are playing Leeds on Friday & Reading on Sat though.

Lets hope they play. One of the few acts I would go see out of the rumours being thrown around on here.

it kind of confused me, because some people consider reading to be in London( even though it is'nt)

Their playing Cream on Saturday?

Well their playing sub-headliner to The Chemical Brothers at Cream.. and if their playing Sunday at SW4, i'd say theres no chance of them playing, but they was on the NME tour so maybe theres a tiny bit of a chance?

They did the NME tour, of course they'll play Readin. Question is, where?

Big enough to headline Dance stage? Clashing with MCR would be grand.

Yep but that's impossible as both Sat & Sun they are subbing at other fests so even if they did do a Deadmau5 and play 2 fests in 1 day they would have to be on early.
Pretty much ruled out imo.

mm thinking about it though, leeds isn't a million miles away from creamfields, am i right?, and this london fest, which is in clapham is only 2 hours max from reading, so they could still play, allbeit a bit rushed.

Wish they play in the evening as their light show is incredible. Not going to happen though. I'd rather see them play a low slot in NME than not see them at all.

their sub-headlining SW4? and Creamfields, surely they wouldn't want to play far down the NME Tent, would just spoil how good they are, as said above their light show is amazing, so i think they'd probably miss it this year, really wanted to see them again too, was amazing on the NME Tour

I cant see it because that structure they use at gigs would take some moving around. Shame as I really wanted them to be on the line up

Im pretty sure that all the acts that were on the NME tour will be on the NME stage at R&L, Them being Magnetic Man, Crstal Castles and Everything Everything

I'm not too sure if they will play R&L because of this, as I have a feeling, no idea if I have made this up in my head or actually heard/read it somewhere but I have a feeling that they will only play at night/in the dark so doing earlier slots may not be possible

Yeah you're right. I'm not really sure where this kinda crazy logic that every band on the NME tour, just because they share a sponser will play the festival. Its an indicator. But if it meant more than that they would all be more than a 'rumour' on the efestivals page. Magnetic Man could quite easily not play.
