Terrible news, great band. The opening riff for 'Would?' is probabley one the greatest bass intros ever.
You got to feel bad for the band, first Layne and now Mike.

I read a few weeks back that he'd been arrested for possession (prescription painkillers I think), was obviously still in a bad way. Shame.

i remember when the first burst onto the scene with facelift.totally blew my mind,what an album.and to follow that up with dirt was just awesome.
album last year(sadly without starr and staley) was great too.cantrell is an amazing guitarist.
