Hipsters

Nothing but a ballless, soulless, spiritless facsimile of other superior acts. Fashionable Emperors New Clothes horseshit.

It is totally moronic to keep generalising like this. Matticus; I like arcade fire and Mumford. Taste is subjective. And you can't insult people that have different taste to you, because there is no right music to listen too.
Radio one listeners and NME readers atleast listen to and enjoy music and that is the point.

The way people put others into boxes on here, I think their heads would explode if I shared my very mixed tastes.

Yes, we have figured out some members of the band have beards yet are popular at the same time.

Maybe TheHedgehog was right that they would only sub or headline and the reason they aren't playing is becuase they are headlining Bestival.

Chinos will never die, never. I've been wearing them for years and won't stop when they go out of fashion

I just personally have an irrational hatred of their use of the word 'heart'. It appears atleast 40 times in sigh no more (album) and the way they sing it simply makes me want to rinse out my ears with charlie sheen's bile.

Fair play though, they get people jumping...

General Fashion over the past few years:

GSTAR RAW - people went apeshit over this stuff, then it died, with only the diehards clinging on.
SHIRTS/SUPERDRY - every person with a pair of gstar jeans then wore either a cheque shirt and/or a superdry jacket
FARMER/GRANDAD - everyone who previously wore gstar jeans realised it was no longer fashionable and started shopping with their grandad so they could have matching chinos and knitwear(never got it really) Then they all bought toms and deck shoes which have the strange ability to make peoples socks disintergrate. Soon there will be something new and the chinos will be in the back of the wardrobe, along with the mumford and sons albums.
