Nobody ever really gets banned. Its easier to put people on moderation. I should know I was on it for 9 months a few years ago

I think (hope) it's the person who gets put on moderation not the account so I wouldn't be surprised if you're put back on moderation as long as you can't keep any new account secret.

Is there an 'ignore' funtion on these forums? Might be an easy solution if there is.

He was in chat last night talking about "a mission" and said how he'd come back time and time again until his mission was complete - the mission being that he would not leave until people here loved him like they do on the countless other message boards he uses. That's more or less a direct quote. It was a very odd way to end a Sunday night, actually. When I came back from a weekend away in Wales I didn't expect to find myself in front of my laptop giving armchair self-help advice to a guy with clear emotional and social 'problems'.

Basically, he's unemployed, he's had a tough life, he lacks any sort of real social life, he's currently getting help, he has no real friendships with anybody, lacks any ambition, says that people don't "get" him, and thinks that this world is entirely his and we all just live in it. That's no excuse for him to be an arsehole, of course, but it's just to give you some perspective as to the type of person we're dealing with. He has 'issues'.
