Car is probably the best, as you probably take more stuff and lock some valuables in there. Getting the train is alright, depending on where you live, I didn't find it too much fun having to carry all more stuff all across the underground last year. Got the coach the year before which was alright, drops you off right outside the entrance to Red which is good, but I got the coach on the Thursday from Cambridge, which left there at 6am so it wasn't too much fun having to get up at about 4.30 to get there in time

Try & get a lift there (parents/pay a mate who isn't going) & then get train back before 10am or after 3pm on Monday. If you get a lift there you can be dropped right outside the entrance gate & you don't have to worry about parking the car. Peterborough's a bit far though perhaps for this.

Hmmmmm, it'll be difficult finding someone that is willing to drive to reading and back at such early hours tbh! I don't want to put anyone in that position.
Does parking cost?
and still want to know long the queues are! Haha!

Most of the queues for me are getting into Reading itself coming from Surrey. Once you're in Reading traffic seems to flow relatively well. I've been early & mid day & the traffic both times was very similar.
