Worthy FM, the festival's on-site radio station, finally has its own website at www.worthyfm.com

There's interviews and features up on the site from the 2010 festival archives if you want to listen again, as well as details on how to win a place in the Worthy FM crew in 2011.

Would be interested to hear what people think of it!  :)

Like the site. :D
You need to get the listen again section sorted though.
came in through IE and the videos do not show.
You can hear them but the player display is all over the shop..
You seem to have lots of content so will be keen to see it soon

Annoying media students only :P Fair enough I spose they need the experience, than just be part of glasto :P.

Anyway, its great idea having years past, as being at glasto you miss alot of it (I listened to it almost constantly in 09 at home over the web :)). Was very excited to get it on the actual radio when getting near :D

Ta, they're not videos though, they're audio files, as we're a radio station. Will check them in IE though, do you know which version of it you were using?

I think we have got some videos of stuff kicking around somewhere, will try and dig some out.

Can see how the audio files look like videos now because of the photos next to them. They're not from video, we just have an habit of taking photos to go with interviews for use on the web, like the new site!

The best bit of Worthy FM is when you first pick up the signal on the car radio as you approach the area.  It's a bit like spotting Glastonbury Tor - you know you're getting close.  The traffic information for people approaching is also very helpful.

The second best bit (and don't get dishearted by this all you hard working broadcasters) is the illuminated mast.  We used to camp in Big Ground and it was a very useful landmark for a late night stagger home in the dark.

The information you provide can be very useful but I have to admit I don't listen to cosy chats with performers or celebs - whether on Worthy FM or the Beeb.

I have a couple of minutes Glastonbury world cup stuff that Worthy fm used and sent me from 2009. It has an interview with Chazeboy and yerjokinarnya (the England keeper).

If you could use it G1T I could send you an email with it in. I also have some photos of the Worthy FM reporter interviewing the players if that would be any good to you.

Cool, thanks for the feedback everyone, really interesting to hear what people think of the station, other than what song they want us to play or what news they've come across on site.

The archive stuff up so far is only from 2010, and we're going to be releasing more years over the coming months up to the festival. I think the eFestivals world cup last year was covered as a live OB, which means it'll be buried away in the broadcast archive, rather than neatly packaged up in the features one. Should have a copy of the 2009 one, but if you've got it handy, along with some photos Hogga, then that would be immensely handy, and would make sure I include it!

Will drop you a PM with an email address...
