Joe Bonamassa is one of many artists announced to perform at The Sunflower Jam on Friday the 8th of July 2011 at London's Royal Albert Hall. Given Joe's history with BB King is there any chance he may well have also been booked to play this year's festival? He currently has a nice window in his schedule too.

Would be pretty exciting to see him do Sloe Gin somewhere on the site... Clapton won't be touring at that point either - perhaps the three of them could do something together? Highly, highly unlikely though.

Great musician and would like to see him, though I would've thought he would be an expensive booking for the type of slot he would get.

I actually interviewed him prior to his last UK tour and the release of the BCC album.

i seen him at the glasgow royal concert hall last year and his performance was flawless, he is amazingly talented.

i would love to see him at glastonbury but not sure where i would place him on the line up, his songs are so long and there's a lot of instrumental bits so surely he would have to headline a stage..? i can't remember how long he played for when i seen him but it was ages.

I saw him when he played at the Royal Albert Hall, while the sound was a bit off, the gig was amazing, would love to see him at glasto

Eavis has more than likely never heard of him,hes good but a bit flash,would prefer to see the likes of Johnny Winter or Derek Trucks with Susan Tedeschi. Last year was good with the likes of Oli Browns band and The Aynsley Lister band,we need more like that.

Try Danny Bryant's Redeye Band.  Danny's a protege of Walter Trout and in my book one of Britain's finest young blues guitarists.  Most of his stuff is self-penned but I love this version of Dylan's Girl From The North Country.  It was originally a Walter Trout arrangement but Danny does a great job.  Wait for the second solo about four minutes in.
