Not sure they're doing Soft Bulletin at Primavera - see here (list of tour dates on the right).

How curious! When they were announced it was definitely "playing The Soft Bulletin", but now they are down as playing their whole discography.

Oh well, I find those Don't Look Back gigs are often a bit rubbish in practise (bet ATP wished they could've some how copyrighted the concept!)

The 2 best gigs at glastonbury in the last 10 years are Flaming Lips in 2003 and Flaming Lips in 2010. IF there is such a thing as "the spirit of glastonbury" then these two gigs are what it is all about.

No way will they be at Glastonbury this year though I reckon, but that gig at Alexandra Palace on 1 July will be one of the greatest gigs of all time. Mark my words.

And there are still tickets available.

Doesn't bother me as I'm going to Primavera and Ally Pally :). I'm hopeful that AP will be great, The Soft Bulletin is one of my favourite albums ever.

Raging I missed them last year, saw them live in Montreal about 8 years ago and was completely blown away. Their albums just don't pack the same punch as their live show.

There is no possible way that AP gig will be anything other than awesome. The Soft Bulletin is amazing. If they play no other songs at all then the only complaint will be that the gig is far too short.

I'm gutted that hasn't sold out in fairness.

As it's a) more annoying that I can't make it and B) it decreases the likelihood of adding another date more northern that I could make.  Or the following Monday would also work for me ;)

I cant think of anything more important than that gig.

If it had fallen on glastonbury weekend I would have left the festival for a few hours, seen the gig then returned to glasto

I would love to see them again at Glastonbury as logistically it is possible - but I now doubt it will happen.  Luckily I will see them in Barcelona and London this year so I wont be too disappointed if they dont appear.

However, as they are around the area (sort of) they might just visit the festival and possibly do this -

I've just seen that they're playing Jodrell Bank on July 2. Now, apart from that sounding like one of the coolest gigs ever, do you think they might pop up in one of the guest slots on the Park Stage?

(http://www.jodrellbanklive.co.uk/, in case you want to go...)
