Spotted that the Y Not Festival doesn't seem to have a thread on here yet. Anyone thinking of heading to the peak district for it this year?
Anybody know when the next set of announcements are due?

Who played last year? Futureheads?

Futureheads, subways and mystery jets headlined last year, decent undercard as well considering the price of around £60.

I'd pay £60 for that. I'll look into it. Is it difficult to get to?

No the details will be up on the website soon I think, but there was shuttle buses from stations in the peak district last year and its not difficult to get to by car.

I should just list them all in the first post I guess.
All The Young announced too - have tickets to see these guys in King Tuts in May, heard they have some cracking tunes.
(can't really comment, only heard 1 track... which is Fair-to-Middling.)

Yep couldn't agree more. I'm not impressed with the headliner's at all this year
Last year's line up was quite strong consider how small of a fest it is. Same with other years. Really not impressed this time though!!

I'm considering popping along this year. Any rumours on who they thrid headliner will be?

Nothing I've heard - but even rumours could be so off the mark at this stage, the Go! team came from f**king nowhere to be announced. Still 60ish acts to be announced, plenty of opportunity for this year to get good.
I'm keeping an eye on it anyway, would like another fest to fit in this year and Y-Not has a good reputation from the people I know who've gone.
Dutch Uncles, Admiral Fallow, Films Of Colour, Dave Mcphearson, Jake Morley, Red Track
We're also announced last night apparently, didn't hear the radio show myself though - so I'm going by a post on the y-not fest facebook wall from people who did hear it. Admiral Fallow is a big win, love their album a tonne.

So, everyone, Feeder are playing as Saturday headliners. That's a great headliner. I'm hoping for Frank Turner for the second stage Sunday headliner. Probably wont happen though.

Tinks told me about this fest last year, can't make it this year but seems she ain't impressed this year as im not too, hope next year is better as might pop along
Maximo Park is a huge headliner and Id defo be up for that, Go Team I like, Feeder are dull as f**k as a headliner, and the rest of the bill is just meh.
Next year Id love Bat For Lashes to get booked.
