For any students interested, Beardy Man announced (not really) the line up today (about 3 hours late, BBL are notorious for time keeping) through Kettle magazine. I wouldn't bother reading it, it's tosh.

Main stage... Magnetic Man, Tinie Tempah, We Are Scientists, Katy B, Professor Green, Beardyman, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs & Yasmin.

Dance tent... Mark Ronson, Zane Lowe, Sub Focus, Nero, Ms. Dynamite, Shy FX, Joker, London Elektricity & Jaguar Skills.

Quite good, if a little unimaginative.

So very tempting. Back on the monday, rest all tuesday, up at crack of dawn for glasto wednesday is whats putting me off.

Good to see a few of those acts so theres less clashes at glasto as well :P

I wasn't tempted at all by the first line up. Very lazy bookings & all acts I've seen before. However, would be a good laugh with my friends.

If they hadn't of got greedy & moved the dates back to the weekend it would have been fine for doing this & Glasto.

It's in a great location, but the queues everywhere all most out weigh this. No wonder everyone was on MCat last year as You can bring 1/2 case of beer/cider per person into the campsite (12 cans) or 1 box of wine which is f**king cheeky & only there so they can flog overpriced booze to students (ignore the cheap bar bit, it was not cheap).

I ended up spending about £150 quid that week, on pretty much booze due to the ridiculasly low amount you can bring in with you. This and the nightmare park & ride que were my only complaints though, since everything else about the festival was brilliant! Even with two trips to the ambulance tent due to coming to the festival with a sprained ankle (by the Thursday night, my foot was just blue) I still managed to hobble around and warriored through any pain to mosh out.
It was a last minute decision for me to go, and only went because i got my ticket for £40 off a mate.
Only reason im not going this year is due to us all going Glastonbury instead. Way too close to do both!

It's a pain. Some ideas: vodka pouches in cereal boxes, spirits in Clearasil/shampoo bottles.

Not much chance of smuggling cans in. It's crap as you can't really socialise at your campsite. They don't even sell crates of cider/beer there. Just single cans or pints. Was nice when they did Kopparberg pear in bottles though but Gaymers now. Just noticed on their website that "Our friends..."  includes Coors Light which is enough alone to not warrant buying a ticket.
