Whats do we think the chances of The Wombats being there are?
They completely slipped to the back of my mind 'til recently i started listenin to their new stuff and then back to their first album. Reminded me how good they actually are, IMO anyway...so it got me wondering if there's a chance they'd be there, missed them in '09 to get a good place for Blur, did anyone see them? how we they?
I've seen them twice, first time at Reading in '08 when they were awesome and then in 2009 at V, where the crowd were just awful!
here's there new video anyway, song is pretty cool

See, I couldn't get into the new stuff either at first, but after a few listens i found myself singing/humming the songs myself at work! they sure make some catchy tunes! lol

The new one played on zanes show the other night wasn't half bad. Its a lot slower but will fit into their set nicely, good indie pop group always fun to see

really enjoyed the first album, ill have to give the 2nd one a listen. Through all the times theyve played ive always had someone else i wanted to watch to never caught them live apart from 10 minutes on the bbc introducing stage few years ago when they did a guest appearance

Would be very surprised if they didn't put in an appearance. And a good thing it would be too. Love ther new stuff - Jump Into The Fog is a bit of a tune and getting a lot of airplay right now.

Still not down as a rumour and the last tour date in their diary is 19th June. They are playing a few foreign festivals though.
Anybody any sneaky info?

Really enjoying the new stuff. It's been a pleasant surprise that they've came back stronger. I though they might just disappear like so many other second album acts.

Nice one!
Unfortunately I'm at work on a prehistoric internet connection so I can't view the video but they should be at least a R or SR surely.

Good to see. Was a fan of their first record, haven't listened to it in a while, liking their new stuff though.
High JPT?
Last year, we obviously had Jamie T headline Saturday.
If it follows that path this year, I could see the Saturday being something like:
The Maccabees
Glasvegas
The Wombats
The Kills

Excellent! Been wanting to see them for ages but someone else has always been on (RATM at Reading in '08 springs to mind).
