I was listening to Yuck's brilliant new album this afternoon and then stumbled across this. At the end of the video they talk a bit about Glastonbury and they say that they've been booked to play on the John Peel stage this year. Reckon they'd be perfect for a mid-afternoon slot on there, well happy about this little bit of news

I too really like their album. Never made the gig where they suppoted Dino Jr.... So would love the chance to see them.

Do they say they are, or do they pretend that they are? It's not really clear that they're being serious.

Well Zane Lowe tweeted it so I'd imagine so.

Their album is everything I wanted from them, saw them live twice last year and I can't believe how tightly they play. They're a superb booking; I wasn't sure if they'd be 'Glasto' enough.

Great album/live act, their sound reminds me of early Teenage Fanclub, or even the Ramones on occasion. Perfect for JP stage.

Can't believe the hate this band has recieved on itunes (one of their song is the free single of the week) half of the reviews are saying how shit the quality and that it's 'all fuzzy'
