Hi

will be taking my 1 year old this year and was wondering what it was like camping in the family fields last year? I read that the family fields were full of people without kids camping there. Was it rowdy at all? I don't fancy somebody falling into my tent etc with the young one in for obvious reasons.

We are probably going to get a campervan but still interested to know what you parents of youngsters thought about camping there.

Was it safe? We normally camp in holts and you are guaranteed that the odd tent will get robbed or somebody will fall into your tent at least once when intoxicated

Hi
We took our 3.5 yr old Son for his 1st Glasto last year...We had intented to camp in the Family Field in the East near to the Kidz Field but got directed into West Parking so decided to camp in Family Camping on that side.

It was FAB!!!! The camping crew were on the ball with only letting families in to camp and so there were only families in there!
We were camped near enough to the loos, we had space to get our LARGE 3-wheeler pram back to the tent easily in the dark,we were camped next to other families so the children played together, it was clean and tidy at all times!!!

Never worried about being robbed etc!
We have a caravan this year...but not because of any camping problems....We just don't trust the weather!!
