My guess is that they will play all 3 festivals that weekend just like how Deadmau5 did 2 years ago so I think they will be playing Reading/Leeds and Creamfields as they had nothing about them being Exclusive whereas they said that The Chemical Brothers were an exclusive act playing their final UK outdoor show of the summer.....I actually think they might be the dance stage headliner again as in the NME tent I can only see them maybe 3rd/4th from top judging from the acts who look as though they will be playing in the R1/NME Stage

a lot point towards
mumford and sons - headline against msue, normally i'd say way to bigger packout after last year but against muse this tiem not arcade fire, keeps the tent atmosphere too instead of 4th main
offspring - perfect up against the strokes to be honest.
beardy eye - liam wont accept lower i doubt, got a good chnce as would've thought they would've been announced for v by now and will split the crowd well from the prodigy or mcr if indeed it is them

Well, Sunday's going to suck if that's the case... Neither MCR and Beady Eye are my cup of tea, on account of them both being rubbish. One of the other stages best have something decent on or I'll be grabbing an early night!

sum1 posted info to say that prodigy are actually headlining above mcr. i guess ppl would rather sit thru mcr for prodigy than other way, it would end up being prodigy and a massive run for beardy eye in nme.
neil from efests also couldn't rule this out plus the guy included muse, the strokes and pulp init. think he may've got a bit wrong though
i'm expecting,
muse
elbow
mumford & sons
the strokes
pulp
the offspring - announced a date in paris 31st which makes it likely and soni latest would probs rule them out there.
prodigy - repat yes but safe but and good safe live option for the masses
mcr - obvs look to be playing but headline is questionable.

I'd settle for that quite happily

Brother (sort of) hinted that they are playing reading/leeds this year. Someone asked on their facebook page and they replied with '
'. I'd say that Brother are better than Beady eye.. obviously neither should headline the tent as they are both new bands. But if brother (and other new bands like vaccines and mona) play, then they are probably going to be halfway down the bill in the nme tent. Just seems unfair that beady eye would probably be headliners just because they all used to be in a band which they now refuse to play songs from. (if that makes sense).

That's the damning of faint praise right there.
