Always been slightly tempted for this fest (not for the music) but price of ticket seems a bit steep.

First acts confirmed
Leftfield, Blondie, Martha Reeves, Mystery Jets, I Am Kloot, The Whip, Nero, Sub Focus - the bigger names.
Leftfield is a big surprise.

Leftfield = good
Queueing for 4 hours to get in last year = bad
The greed of the organisers with their ridiculous restrictions on booze you can take in despite charging 160 quid a ticket = ugly
They bang on about the take from the bars keeping the festival going. So how do Alchemy, BDs, BT and other independant festivals manage to do it with a much cheaper ticket price and only fraction of the paying punters?

Anyone know where the info that James are confirmed for this comes from? They're on the listings page on here but not on the official site.

I'm considering going to this fest this summer. I've done Reading (which I'll never do again), Glastonbury and Isle of Wight a bunch of times and I want to try something new this year. Would you say it's worth going? What makes it stand out from the others and would a 20 year old guy enjoy it going alone (I've done festivals alone and it's been fine before). Cheers.

I went last year to SGP and absolutely loved it. No big names but different bits of great music everywhere. The best thing was the crowd really friendly and party animals

I know its sort of missing the point a bit, but does anyone know which of the acts so far are the headliners? I'm guessing Leftfield and Blondie and maybe Mylo

Good question. Appears Blondie and Leftfield are down to play the Saturday on their website, so imagine Blondie would sub Leftfield.
Can see Martha Reeves headlining the Sunday, and possibly Mystery Jets the Friday.
