Yeah hes 80 odd though so not sure if hes still touring.Fats Domino please! Is he still alive? I keep having a horrible feeling he won't last until he does it and it would be so brilliant. He has so many tunes that everyone knows even if they don't know it!

It is. They still call him they call him the Fat Man mind you. But he doesn’t weigh 200 pounds anymore.
He was rumoured to be dead after Hurricane Katrina. Went missing for a while but turned up again. I remember him on the news in his trashed gaff.

He couldn't do "It keeps raining and raining" though, that would just be tempting fate!

Lou Reed? grumpy miserable bastard. Hardly likely to get the whole crowd singing along like Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey or Neil Diamond, is he?
Talented? undoubtedly. Singalong music for Sunday teatime? Naaahhh.

What about a pop act for a sing-along? Kool + The Gang? Kylie? Duran Duran? ABC? They're all touring and free that weekend
Shame that, thanks for the info. Duran Duran or Spandau Ballet for an 80s singalong then?

Is it to late to suggest Slade?
They have the clout, the hits, the sing-along-songs, but it looks like Noddy Holder has definately retired so as much chance as a shower of frogs
.
Hmm, Don McLean, I know of Vincent and Castles in the Air and the obvious one (and add a not bad version of Roy Orbisons Crying) but not much else.

Aswad or Steel Pulse would fit the Legends Bill these days. They both deserve to be invited back.
