The Killers are set to play at Lollapoloza festival in Chile in April so what are the odds of them doing Glastonbury?

I'm hoping we get Brandon on his own. his solo album is fantastic.

Just stay for 2-3 years and then maybe think about coming back when they have something more along the lines of hot fuss.didnt they go on hiatus...for like a year? this is being dubbed their 'comeback' gig.
As for glasto, I doubt it

Probs be at T in the Park anyway, it's been 2 years since they've been there, they're due a return with Snow Patrol and KOL.

Yep, all above points valid, but if they do play, you know aswell as i do if you don't like them there will be more than enough other stuff on at the same time to keep you happy.

It's the media dubbing it their 'comeback' gig, not the band.
A Brandon solo set has got to be on the cards, I'm sure he said he wanted to do festivals solo.

The killers are far too popular for this forum. it was bound to bring out the music snobs.

I liked the first two, but day and age was terrible
They slagged around the festies here too much hence everyone on these forums being fed up of em!

The Killers ruined something that could have been brilliant after the first two albums
Hot Fuss is one of my fave albums of all time though, I love Everything Will Be Alright

I really liked the first two albums but the idea of seeing them play live again does nothing for me. They are an amazing band for their ability to look brilliant live when you see them on the telly and being mind-numbingly dull live when you're actually there. I honestly don't know how they do it but having seen them three times before and been utterly under-whelmed each time there is no danger of me seeing them a fourth time. I don't think of this as musical snobbery, more well-informed judgement.

I have to say for all the complaining they wern't bad live, well at least the crowd was very good for them very jumpy and sing alongy so in some respects a very good headliner, just been around a bit I'd say.

Arcade Fire headlined L&R and are doing loads of festivals this year and will probably do glasto. they are also getting more famous by the day so will it be them next year everyone is slagging off?
