So that it's better integrated with these forums, I've installed a different chatroom to the one that was used previously.

The new chatroom can be found via the 'Chat' link at the top of the page, or by clicking here.

When people are in the new chatroom, it displays that they are by putting the number of people by the main chatroom link at the top of the page, by saying "There are x people in the chat" in red at the top of the page, and by displaying at the bottom of the forum index page the number of users present and their names.

I prefer, much nicer to look at as well. Hopefully with it being at the top it encourage more use!
