Apparently RHCP have said they are playing a festival this year.
Look like for R + L ?
I think they will play Glastonbury but who knows?

Christ for some who claims their mate knows all the bands for all the festivals before anyone else you've latched onto a 3 month old shit rumour.

I thought that username looked a bit familiar.
OKB - you told me in a private message that you were going to leave here for good because of how much of a fool you'd made of yourself.

Woops seems like there already is a thread on this! For that I apologise!
Yes it is true my posts have to be approved before hand but hopefully it won't be long till I can be trusted again. I am on this for advertising which is a bit of shame.
To Dave: I would PM you but I can't use that function atm. I thought it's better to post here and be helpful than not post at all.

I think if they were to play then it would have been rumoured already like the other rumoured headliners. Only festival i can see them doing in the UK this year is TITP, only due to the fact that they dont have any rumoured headline acts, where as all other festivals do.

For heaven's sake, they put on such a shocking performance in 07, too far early to re-book them, too general, end of story.

You realise Hard Rock has 4 headliners and not a chance they can get U2.

At the minute, I would say Bestival is doing pretty well for itself with The Cure, Primal Scream, DJ Shadow, Brian Wilson and Grandmaster Flash.
Part of me hopes they didn't spend all of the money on those acts though.

just saying they dont seem to fit in with the general selection of headliners from 2010,2009, or 2008, with the exception of the killers.

Ah sorry, confused it Wireless for a sec.
Why don't RHCP fit in with Hard Rock? They are mainstream rock just like the rest of their previous headliners.

They've been going for longer than Pearl Jam, actually they are close on 30 years and are one of the best known bands in the world. Hard Rock has f**k all to do with "legend persona" it's basically whatever sudo rawk they have playing on in the background in those cafes as you try to eat an over priced burger will do.
