Heard from a source this week that Abba and Rolling Stones will be playing.

Can't remember why source said Abba, but he said it was a sure thing. He mentioned that Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood were seen at Worthy Farm recently.

My source is in the entertainment industry, so could be true...............

Another saddleback goes streaking through the clouds while Satan practices for his appearance on "Dancing On Ice" at home.

Here's hoping so, anyway - obviously that's aimed at ABBA and not Keith Wood and the rest of the British Lions 2001 touring party, or "The Rolling Stones" as they're apparently now known!

When you say entertainment industry, do you mean scout-for-a-major-label entertainment industry, or works-the-door-at-the-squid-and-mashed-potato works in the entertainment industry?

P.S. I f**king hate ABBA

Just saying what I heard. If it's untrue you can shoot me down in flames. If it's true I'll accept a donation to Water Aid as a reward!!!!!!

And I ain't bothered about Abba, and I ain't that fussed about the Stones (although it will probably be the only chance I would ever get to see them).

if there was any real abba rumour, surely the whole of the worlds press would be on it like cock rash? it would hardly be heard first by an unknown on efest.

hope you're right though!

My source works for an Arab State , they had £20b burning a hole in their pocket , but as they
hate football , but love camping they have considered investing their dosh in Glasto.

So Eavis now has the dosh needed to secure them two !

see that's what i mean about abba. for abba to play glastonbury, they're going to need to be in the country playing their own gig to make it remotely possible as glastonbury aren't going to fork out for an exclusive show.

the media would be all over any serious hint at an abba reunion in london. if what jason says is true, there's no way it would be this hush hush for them to have snapped up a deal for their own gig and sunsequently signed up to play glastonbury.

Backed to appear at Glastonbury by bookies. They haven't reuinted yet (as far as anyone knows) and there is no mention of backed to headline. Just to appear. Would they headline if they were to appear? I don't know. Can't stand them personally. Their music reminds me of cheap disco's and wedding receptions with aunties and uncles dancing badly. Perhaps there is going to be a pop day on the Pyramid lol, Abba, Take That, Beyonce, Rihanna - all rumoured in some place or another. The though of it is making me feel ill........

I'm not sure odds of 33/1 is them being 'backed'

For example, you can get better odds on Patrice '3 goals in 5 years' Evra being first goalscorer in the Man United-Birmingham game tomorrow
