Just seen over there in the feed that Suede are playing at SOS 4.8 Festival in May.

Warm up gig for Reading and Leeds?

As soon as I saw that announcement I knew you'd start this thread :D

Maybe tent headliners, are they plugging anything new?

Honestly, the closer we get to MY festival line-up poster, the better - and when I see a band I noted playing at a Spanish festival I've never heard of... admittedly it's a long way off, but there's still hope yet damn it!

The only thing I think they're selling at the minute is a greatest hits compilation. So that means Soundgarden have a greatest hits compilation out, Suede have one, and Primal Scream have no new album but they're touring Screamadelica (which is like a greatest hits album in itself)... so there is a correlation forming here. Isn't there? ISN'T THERE???

I was gonna argue 'too big for NME' but Manics did it and I'd put them on a similar level (similar, not the same, before the shitstorm kicks off).

So...they could headline NME the night we have the American headliner? I keep seeing the likes of MCR/Green Day being thrown around, would make for a pretty good clash...

I've mentioned it a few times but Neil (efestivals) seems to think they'll only do one fest and that'll be the fest that offers them the most cash. I'd say there must be a good chance they'll be at Lattitude but I also think there must be a decent chance they'll headline the NME, fingers crossed.

Whatever festival Suede are at; I'll be at. If Soundgarden are at one and Suede at the other, on the other hand... poses a dilemma. Like being the only Muslim at a BNP meeting. May have to invent some sort of matter transporting device.

If they're at Glastonbury, God f**king hates me.

Suede are set to play their first three albums in full across three gigs in London in May.

The band will play the O2 Academy Brixton on May 19, 20 and 21, running through one of the albums in its entirety on each night.

On May 19 they will play the whole of their 1993 self-titled debut, followed by 1994's 'Dog Man Star' on May 20 and 1996's 'Coming Up' on May 21.

well that's exciting.

Haven't they already done this? I'm sure they played an album a night for a week a few years back.

I really have a feeling them or Primal Scream will headline the NME this year. I really hope it's Suede, the thought of Suede and Pulp at the same festival has me salivating.

I could see this happening, definately in the tent though. Suede, whilst one of the better britpop bands, haven't set the world alight since reuniting, think i paid a fiver for the show in manchester.
