it'd be great to see Mick Jones making more use of his talents (in BAD) than last year

been revisiting BAD lately... saw them once and they were ace.

Glasto would be marvelous
:)

Scottie (the efests editor) has had a hand in this coming about - he asked Greg Dread if he'd considered reforming BAD, and Greg said 'no' but that it sounded a good idea. Less than a year later, it's happened.

Well done Scottie  :)

If they played Glasto it would make my year
They are a band I always meant to see, but never got around to it, then thought I had missed my chance

my lad is going to have babies when I tell him they are playing together again  :P (hes already excited about pulp reforming)

Can I claim a hand in suggesting to Scottie that he suggested it to them?  :P

Thinking about it there were nearly all there at Glasto 2010 but just doing other things (Gorillaz, Dreadzone and Don Letts DJing).

Hopefully they'll be back as BAD for 2011.

Had no idea they were even getting back together. B.A.D. are perfect for Glasto.

I don't suppose Scottie fancies having a word with Morrissey and Marr, does he?  Or Martin Rossiter?

With Mick Jones playing friday night, then on saturday Don Letts playing the Glade straight before Dreadzone, my lad wanted to miss scissor sisters "just in case", but his mum over ruled him  :P

Saw most of Dreadzone though, who were ace as usual  :)

In that immediate pre-grunge period they were my favourite band probably, not that there was more than a handful of competition

Can't say I've listened to them in 20 years, but would love to see them. Mick Jones acoustic Clash session in Strummerville please, ha.

It may have been that thread that prompted me to ask him when I bumped into him on the Sunday at Wychwood.

A friend of mine is a graphic designer who does artwork for band's tours and his facebook status said he met Mick Jones, Don Letts and Dan Donovan yesterday so I would say that points towards a forthcoming tour!

Surely they'd have to be on at Glasto wouldn't they?

word from the most reliable of sources on the "if music could talk" (all thangs clash forum) is that glastonbury is pencilled in along with other dates in the UK...

the horses are on the track!  B)

this would be utterly fantastic
