I didn't see an active thread specifically about them, so thought a new one would be worthwhile.
Yes, the name seems to get knocked about year after year. It sounds like they were booked for 2010 and pulled out (replaced by GnR), but is this actually the year they return? MCR are rumoured to play the Saturday by Efests, but I can't see them headlining, surely GD would slot in above them perfectly
If anyone remembers, the tweet from back in August definately suggests something to do with Reading/Leeds: http://twitter.com/G...ses/20603331827
If they are booked, do you want them? I seen them at Wembley in June and they put one hell of a show on, so I'm all for it.

I can defiantly see this happening with MCR just before, its been rumours loads over recent years so it might as well happen already.

The R'N'L bit from the tweet is some sort of acronym regularly used by one of the members.

They didn't play any fests to promote the last studio as I doubt they would for a live album.
It depends on what the band want to do now, last year they played Wembley and would struggle to do it again this year so they would do probably agree to play fests if they are touring.

muse are the headline/festival slags of the earth. theres no point in any1 telling us in march if muse are playing. we all no they are anyway, even if their not.... they will still turn up expecting to headline. only to be told 'NO' witch would make them most likely self impolde with utter disbelief.

Green Day can play, but only if Supergrass are up against them like in 2004.

You have an unusual idea of how festivals function.

I thought they were pretty good at Wembley, they slagged off their new songs and play a mixed melody of loads of classic 60 British rock and played Shout which is probably the best cover of the song after Otis Day & The Knights.
Still the most fun live band I've ever seen.

Hopefully not.
People have enough chances to see them, let the 'special' bands headline festivals.
