If anybody has seen any of my previous postings on other bands I try to be the eternal optimist about the bands I like and the chances of them playing...
Im going to keep an open mind on BoH playing Glastonbury this year, understand the Foo Fighters link, they also say in the post on their website they are playing festivals. I will be at the Brixton gig in a week or two and will have the opportunity to find out if they are playing. An old friend of mine is the perfect person to find out if they will be there, a fair chance he will know about one or two others as well...
I promise to post once I have been.
Neil, feel free to PM me and I will let you know who my friend is so you know I am not pulling anybodies legs.

They're not supporting on the dates over Glasto weekend.. Wooo!

True but both the BOH and Foos websites only have BOH supporting them on June 22nd. The gig on June 24th has two other supports listed already and the one on June 26 has Biffy listed, though I assume there's one more support to be added on that date. Looks to me like there's (currently at least) a Glastonbury-shaped hole for BOH (and Gaslight Anthem/Biffy Clyro, incidentally)

I was at Brixton as well last night and thought it was about as good as it gets - staggering.
One slight down side for me - was going to hook up with an old friend who would have been able to tell me if they were playing Glastonbury or not but sadly it couldnt happen. Will try and catch up with him later instead.

ancient_one, on 09 January 2011 - 07:20 PM, said:Or was it 2009? Anyway, I saw them in the JP tent, and yes, they were a bit poor, and only seemed to get going towards the end. Wished I had gone to see Elbow instead.
I'm a fan - was there for the JP set - the sound was pretty dreadful for them and I think it knocked the wind out of them a bit. Watched them in Manchester at the Ritz last year and it was one of the best gigs I've been to. Hard to say - but perhaps just an off day - also though the sound was rubbish for the National after?

saw them last week and it was brilliant, played an excellent set and was recieved well by everyone. the backdrop was the best ive seen at the acadamy as well, found myself watching that as much as the band !

a stack of festivals in June, last date listed is 22nd June in Europe.
Really hope they're playing. I think their sound would be a brilliant mid-day Pyramid set.

So what does everyone think the likelyhood is of BOH playing??

Wow... Well it's all about opinions and everybody is entitled to one.
Here is mine - Band of Horses are magnificent, the previous poster is very wrong about the current album, very wrong.
All three albums are magnificent in their own way. The best current band on the planet.

I wasn't keen on Infinite Arms at first but it makes a lot more sense live. Still a very good album by most bands standards

I seen them live they were supporting Snow Patrol in a mini festival of sorts in Belahouston Park in Glasgow. They were really good but another band that was playing and that I now love are Frightened Rabbit. You should definitely get around to listening to some of their stuff and Glasto should book them.

they've announced Spain festival dates up to 25th June.
Long shot, but would love to see them playing the Sunday.
