That's the worst beating I've seen since Rodney.

They are advertising on here, and say they can get you in for three hundred and twenty notes, if you spend eight grand on an RV for the weekend.

Thoughts?  Two tier festival?  Opportunists milking it?  Or just part of the free market doing it's thing?

They seem to be involved in a number of fests.

Yes we live in a two-tier world.
There's always been a way to make money alongside good events and attractive places.  Think about hotels and apartments to let in the sun.
I can understand people in the Pilton area offering B&B and we seem to have more Camp Kerala type places around the festival.
If you've got enough money you can buy your way into most places, though I'm not too happy with the idea of them being able to offer festival tickets at £320.
I suppose if you've got more money than sense and fancy a sanitised festival then it's an option.  But, to be honest, I wouldn't want to live in a completely sanitised world.

The Winnebagos behind the Pyramid stage are cheaper to camp in than those RVs... And they are just as nice inside!

That's the price, excl. VAT, set by the festival for hospitality tickets. Most of the 'blessed' offsite camping places offer them. The operators don't make money on the ticket.

Even if i could afford this i would pass. To me, camping and being so close to everything, getting to know your neighbours and basically living the festival 24/7 is what it is all about for me. I LOVE IT.

glastonbury festival is actually held on many peoples land, *I think* (i'm positive) GFL (M.E. and E.E.) give tickets and let the landowners make money this way instead of paying rent - do i like it, no, is it necessary, probably.

*NOTE*

camping in these areas serioulsy limit your experience*

*just a guess, never stayed in one. although I've stayed in the CV field and that was ok/ very very boring and tedious to get in and out
