^ How good was 'The Living Dead' at that gig - stunning!

This is from the gig in Stockholm a few days earlier - a wonderful little venue (1400 capacity) and one of the coldest days I've ever experienced (minus 17 during the day!!)

Does Suede headlining Latitude increase their chances of playing or (as I suspect) does it rule them out :( ?  Personally, I'd be very happy if the entire Latitude line-up announced so far was to be at Glastonbury. I hate that I can't go to Latitude - Suede, The National, John  Shuttleworth and Simon Armitage - will be magical for those of you that go.

Jon Dunn has told eFestivals in an interview that The National, Suede, and Paolo Nutini are all English festival exclusives.

word i've had is that they're likely to only play one festival - so I'd suspect that won't be Glastonbury as they'd be most likely to go for the big payday.

I reckon that if that's right and they only do one, then the one is most likely to be Latitude.

So that was right. :)

Just as Paul has posted above, we've been told something about Paolo Nutini being an exclusive to Latitude - which conflicts with something we were told from very solid sources many months ago about Nutini having been booked for Glasto. We're trying to get that checked out, so we know exactly how things stand.

first indications are that the claim of these three acts being Latitude exclusives isn't entirely correct.

So each of these three are appearing at another UK festival this year then?

Nutini is playing Rockness, so false claim really?

Sorry misread didn't see that you wrote English exclusives.

No idea - but it does appear to be the case that at least one is appearing at another English fest.

Fingers crossed it's Suede then. Can't help feeling they're the least likely of the three though.

Wish I had sources :P

I'd assume it's The National but I really hope it's Suede as well.

If any of those bands were to be an exlusive surely to god it would be Suede. More cult pulling power than the others surely? I'd expect Paolo top be at Glasto.... but God damn I want the National to play :D I still want Suede though...

It's OK to tell me that it's Suede who are actually at Glasto as well as Latitude now, Neil.  I need cheering up.  The CL draw wasn't exactly kind!

(Obviously I know you were actually refering to PN as he's been on your rumours list for about 6 months now!)

Suede - one of my fave bands from Uni days.

I remember seeing them at the Que Club in Birmingham and also Reading Rivermead.
Great energy at both - I pogoed all the way through the Reading gig.
Haven't seen them recently but would have been a great addition e.g. at John Peel stage to Glastonbury.

Shame.
